Sarojini Naidu who is also called "Nightangle" of India, served as first woman Governor in Independent India. She was Governor of Uttar Pradesh. She was also the second woman and first Indian woman to become President of Indian National Congress in 1925. Whereas Sucheta Kriplani, Indira Gandhi and Vijaya laxmi Pandit were first women Chief Minister, Prime Minister of India and President of U.N. General Assembly respectively.
