Mahatma Gandhi described Ram Raj or Ram rule as a divine raj i.e. Kingdom of God. Ram rule signifies participatory democracy and maximum benefits to the people. Mahtama Gandhi was firm believer of participatory democracy through decentralization of power. According to him it will lead to development of villages bring harmony and promote justice which inturn will develop India into a prosperous country.
