Vedanga does not come under Shruti literature. It comes from post-Vedic literature. The Vedanga (limbs of the Veda) are six auxiliary disciplines traditionally associated with the study and understanding of the Vedas. They are Shiksha, Kalpa, Vyakarana, Nirukta, Candas and Jyotisha.
